Lynn Caraganis first appeared in The New Yorker magazine in 1980. She has contributed to The Atlantic and other periodicals, and her short humor pieces have been anthologized in three collections. She is also the author of two books, Garish Days and Cousin It. 

She is a graduate of The University of Connecticut and New York University.

Lynn is the mother of two sons and lives in Los Angeles and Berkeley, California.
